Overview


KeKePad is a new generation of platform for making wearable and fabric projects. KeKePad is open source, it’s developed based on LilyPad Arduino USB, but adopts a new way of wiring and connection. It uses an ATmega32u4 chip and has built-in USB support function. You can connect KeKePad to your computer directly by a Micro-USB cable to program it.

In order to make it easy to use, KeKePad uses standard Ke Cables for the wiring. The cable wires are flexible, strong and ultra-thin with smooth Teflon insulation.

KeKePad is in round shape (50mm in diameter), along side the edge of the board, there are 12 tiny 3-Pin Ke Connectors and 11 sewtab pins.

In normal usage, the modules are connected by Ke Cables to the main board, the connector has a hook, the cable can not be pulled out unless you press down the housing end of the cable.
